Digital Shield
Seven layers of gambling protectioninside a recovery platform
Renovyn Shield blocks, monitors, intercepts, logs and alerts the supporter you choose, and wraps it all in a recovery platform rather than a standalone filter. No blocker is complete, so we tell you what each layer does and where it stops.

How It Works
Three steps.Total protection.
- 01
Activate Shield
One tap in the app. Shield enables DNS blocking instantly. No downloads, no configuration, no waiting.
- 02
Enable layers
Turn on browser monitoring, notification interception, and uninstall protection. Each layer adds another wall between you and gambling.
- 03
Link your sponsor
Connect a trusted person. They see your Shield status, get alerts on high-risk patterns, and must approve any deactivation. Accountability without surveillance.
Free to start. No credit card required.

Every angle covered
Shield doesn't rely on one technique. It combines DNS filtering, browser monitoring, notification interception, SMS filtering, content blocking, app detection, and uninstall protection into a single system.
- 01
DNS Domain Blocking
Blocks known gambling domains at the network level. It cannot catch everything: new domains, direct IP addresses, encrypted DNS and VPNs can get past it.
AndroidiOS - 02
Browser Monitor
Real-time scanning of browser URLs and page content. Catches many sites that are on no blocklist, though not all of them.

Notification Shield
Intercepts and quarantines gambling promotions from every app on your device.
AndroidiOSNot available - 04
SMS Filter
Filters gambling SMS from unknown senders before they reach you.

Safari Content Blocker
Blocks gambling domains directly in Safari, no VPN required.

App Shield
Android: overlay when shielded apps open. iOS: Screen Time blocks apps you select in Apple's picker.
AndroidiOS - 07
Uninstall Deterrence
On Android, makes removing the app harder and notifies your sponsor of an attempt. It cannot prevent removal: iOS does not allow it at all, and a determined Android user can still uninstall.

What works where
Android gets the deepest protection: system-level access lets Shield monitor everything. iOS protection focuses on Safari and DNS blocking within Apple's security model.
Android protection requires a dev build with native modules. iOS Safari Content Blocker requires enabling in Settings > Safari > Extensions.
Beyond Blocking
Blocking is table stakes.Recovery is the goal.
Other tools block and forget. Shield blocks, learns, and helps you understand your patterns so you can break them.
Attempt intelligence
Every blocked attempt is logged. Shield surfaces patterns, like late-night browsing surges or escalating access attempts, and, if you have turned on sponsor visibility, shares them with your sponsor so support can arrive early. Renovyn does not predict relapse.
Sponsor accountability
Your sponsor sees your Shield status in real-time. Deactivating any layer requires their approval with a 24-hour cooldown. No heat-of-the-moment decisions.
Recovery context
When Shield blocks something, you don't see a blank wall. You see recovery tools: urge surfing exercises, your sponsor's contact, nearby meetings, your note to future self.
Heuristic detection
Advanced pattern detection catches gambling content even on unknown sites. Regulatory text, betting UI terms, casino language, payment patterns: Shield catches what blocklists miss.
Protection that works.Recovery that lasts.
Shield is included with every Renovyn account. No extra charge. No upsell. Whether it's for you or someone you love.
